Gabrielle Langevine
Gabrielle Langevine is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and educator currently teaching at Success Academy Charter School, Union Square, in New York City. A proud alumna of Rowan University, Gabi majored in Dance and performed in numerous works, including Small Gifts by Melanie Stewart, Making Good Trouble by Dawn Marie Bazemore and Joe Gonzalez, Black is... and Resilience by Sabrina Vargas, and The Wings They Can’t See by Julia Santiago. Her junior year, she choreographed her own project titled Play!, showcasing her creative voice as an emerging choreographer.
In addition to her dance achievements, Gabi served as the Associate Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Rowan’s Student Government and was actively involved in Rowan’s NAACP chapter. In her final semester, she created and presented A Letter to Black Women, a heartfelt and powerful tribute celebrating Black womanhood.
Today, Gabi teaches dance to Kindergarten through 4th grade students and runs her own dance clubs, sharing her love of movement and expression while nurturing the next generation of young dancers.
